Open Access Open Access  Restricted Access Subscription or Fee Access
This issue of Ethnicity & Disease offers research addressing interdisciplinary work to advance the understanding of the etiology of racial and ethnic disparities in health and health care outcomes. Guided by the issue's guest editors, Drs. Roland Thorpe, Jr. and Harlan Jones, several articles provide in-depth study on what individuals do (behavior), what motivates them to do (social, beliefs, attitudes) and how inherited characteristics are entwined to influence health. In addition, several articles focus on COVID-19 outcomes and a few articles of the special series from the UCLA-CDU COVID-19 Task Force are also featured.
